-transforming everyday
moments and materials into something extraordinary-

I’m Emma. An artist based in the Northwest Suburbs of Chicago who enjoys creating in every way imaginable. I primarily work with fabric, creating both two-dimensional and sculptural pieces.

Much of my inspiration comes from nature and the amazing beauty that surrounds our everyday lives. I believe it is the small things in life that make it wonderful, and I seek to create pieces that capture those little, real-life moments that pause and make you smile.

Re-purposed materials are central to my projects: fabric scraps from another piece, or an object plucked from a thrift shop or dumpster. I do this not only in an effort to reduce waste, but also to transform something that might have otherwise been overlooked, into something beautiful. This theme of transformation, whether physical or spiritual, can be seen in many of my pieces.
